There is no minimum for egg shipment. Actual costs will be determined based on amount of eggs ordered.
I take great care in wrapping each egg individually to assure its safe arrival. When your eggs arrive, please allow them to sit IN THE SHIPPING BOX for 24 hours in a still, cool (not cold) place before placing them in your incubator or under your broody hen. Make sure your incubator’s temperature and humidity have been stabilized prior to placing the eggs. Shipping is a bouncy ride and eggs need to resettle to be healthy for incubating. If you MUST open the box please carefully remove each egg from the packaging and place them narrow end down in a carton or turner in a quiet place to settle for 24 hours.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be aware once my eggs leave my care, I am NOT RESPONSIBLE for the number of eggs that hatch successfully. I cannot control your incubation methods or equipment.
If eggs arrive broken, please let me know. I will send replacement eggs or refund the money for the damaged eggs. Identifiable photos will be required.
Handling Fee: A handling fee of $2.00 will be charged on all orders. This covers the cost of packing materials. Postage: Shipping is determined by taking the destination zip code and considering the birds you're ordering and where they will be shipped from. I utilize the US Postal Service system to calculate the rates in real time, using the approximate weight of your order. Also, I strive to keep the shipping rates our system generates as accurate as possible. I never attempt to make money on shipping. If you think that the shipping rate you paid was drastically different from the actual cost, PLEASE tell me about it. I will refund the difference if at least 5.00 on a case by case basis.
Payment:I will email you an invoice when you place your order. Payment is expected at that time. I accept payment by check, money order or PayPal. There is an additional 3% processing fee for orders paid with Paypal. Payment can be sent to Spring Leaf Farm, 3918 W. Hallett Rd. Spokane, WA 99224 or via Paypal to firstname.lastname@example.org
Reservations: Reservation for hatching eggs when they become available. Simply send me a text or email with your name, email address, phone number and your reservation order and I will confirm your placement on my waiting list. I expect prospective buyers to have done their homework on the ins and outs of the incubation process and to be familiar with their equipment. I will gladly answer any questions. I understand the learning process is never-ending and there are no “stupid” questions. Orders will be be filled on a first come/first serve basis. Texts and email confirmations will be sent out the week your eggs are ready.
